Editorial policy

Scope

Home maintenance and introductory reference only. The site teaches routines, selection, schedules, safety checks, and troubleshooting for grooming a dog at home. It does not teach professional breed cuts, does not diagnose or treat conditions, and does not cover anal-gland expression or dental scaling.

Sources

Each lesson names its further-reading sources. Facts that change, such as tool models and prices, are written as dated snapshots and are not presented as permanent. No source is invented, and no figure is quoted without a named source.

Limits stated on the page

Where text alone cannot teach a skill, such as clipper feel, scissor control, or handling a fearful dog, the lesson says so and names the hands-on help needed. Stop-and-refer rules appear wherever a lesson can go wrong.

Corrections

Corrections are recorded on the corrections page, with the original published date kept and a new updated date added. No contact address is published yet, so corrections cannot currently be received; the contact and corrections pages say so honestly.

Money

No affiliate links are used and nothing is sold. If that ever changes, the affiliate disclosure page will be updated first, and the change will be dated.
